I have lived in the Salt Lake Valley my entire life, which has given me a deep understanding of the local market, neighborhoods, and communities that make this area such a special place to live. From the east bench neighborhoods near the University of Utah to the growing communities throughout the valley, I love helping clients find the right place to call home.

Over time, I discovered a particular passion for helping medical professionals navigate the home buying process. This niche became especially meaningful to me because my husband is a local pediatrician, and I experienced firsthand the long and demanding journey that physicians go through during their training years.

My husband and I actually met on our very first day of college, and we were married shortly after I completed my undergraduate degree. From there, we walked through every stage of the medical path together. Undergraduate studies, medical school, residency, and eventually the transition into practice.

Because of that experience, I understand the unique challenges physicians face when it comes to housing decisions. The long hours, demanding schedules, relocation for training programs, significant student loan balances, and the uncertainty that can come with Match Day all make the home buying process look very different for medical professionals than it does for many other buyers.

I also understand the financial transition that often occurs when moving from residency into an attending position, and how important it is to make thoughtful, strategic decisions during that time even if it means transitioning your current home to an investment property with a management company.

Helping physicians navigate these transitions is something I genuinely enjoy. My goal is to make the process simple, efficient, and thoughtful so that medical professionals can focus on their careers while still making smart real estate decisions that support their long-term financial goals.

Whether you are relocating for residency, purchasing your first home as a new attending, or planning for the next stage of your career, I’m here to help guide you through the process with clarity and confidence.

I have a homebuyer guide with a specialized section for medical homebuyers if you are interested in more information.  Obtaining a copy does not mean you have to use me but is for informational purposes for anyone interested.

I have known Michelle for many years. As an experienced realtor, she understands the process families go through when buying and selling homes. As the spouse of a doctor, she understands the intense personal life of a physician family. As a long time white coat investor, she understands how the right home purchase at the right time and in the right way fits into a physician’s financial life. Her kindness, attention to detail, and hard work will help you find and purchase your dream home while still progressing toward your other career and financial goals.”

“Michelle has been exceptional in teaching me about the Salt Lake Valley,  and since we were out of state transitioning for a second home here she would go many times a week and video walk through homes for us and send us pros and cons of each with comparables and really help us get to know the market out there. We learned each of the areas so we could be confident when it was time to make a decision and move forward with out plan.  She is fantastic, excellent communicator, negotiator and I would recommend her to all my colleagues.”

“Earlier this year, I was relocating to Salt Lake City from out of state for work. Michelle came recommended through others at the hospital.  She responded quickly, and she made herself readily available when I traveled to Utah for a week to house hunt. Michelle was patient and wanted to show me enough properties to make sure I was comfortable moving forward.  Michelle’s knowledge and experience were evident in the way she negotiated on my behalf.  Even after the contract was completed and I owned the house, she continued to be helpful over the next severeal weeks while I was still out of state (sharing names of tradespeople, going to my house to take measurements etc.) If and when I move in the future, I will definitely work with Michelle again. I recommend her wholeheartedly!”
